TL;DR of What I did
Mentored and coached various designers, including coaching one report through a promotion
Shipped IC projects, wrote UXR briefs, and ran UXR interviews while managing a team
Created and codified design team working processes
Refined Self Service UXR processes in the absence of a research team
Collaborated with product and engineering partners to add projects to product roadmaps by facilitating brainstorms and conducting/sharing research
Had a lot of fun researching creative offsites for our team, including volunteering at the SF Marin Food Bank for the holidays and learning how to fish crab off Torpedo Wharf in the Presidio
Determined that curiosity and empathy are some of the leadership values I resonate with, and I’m excited to collect more data points to refine my leadership principles as I grow in this role
