I completed a 16 hour class with Oakland-based neon artist Meryl Pataky (her Instagram here). This took place over four weekend days, where I learned the science behind neon, how to bend glass tubing, how to weld tubing and electrodes.
I loved it and can never, ever look at a neon sign the same way again.
